Trumpet

Graham is the Principal Trumpet of the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra and the Mankato Symphony. Graham received a Master of Music degree (2003) from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree (1999) from Northwestern University.

Graham has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Pacific Symphony, the Lakes Area Music Festival, the Pageant of the Masters Festival Orchestra, Long Beach Symphony, Berkeley Symphony, Oakland East Bay Symphony, Marin Symphony, San Jose Opera, Monterey Symphony, Santa Cruz Symphony, Lamplighters, Symphony Napa Valley, Opera Paralléle, Fresno Philharmonic, South Bend Symphony, Dubuque Symphony, and can be heard on recordings with Hiss Golden Messenger as a trumpet player and arranger.

As an educator, Graham is on the faculty at Luther College and has been on the faculties of the Idyllwild Arts Academy, the University of San Francisco, and the San Francisco Day School. He also teaches at the St. Paul Conservatory of Music, Lakeville North High School, and Wayzata High School. In 2016 Graham participated in the Stockholm Chamber Brass Academy in Sweden and returned to the Academy in 2017 and 2018 for intensive work with Urban Agnas (Stockholm Chamber Brass and professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, Köln). Graham lives in Minneapolis with his wife Alison, the wonderful horn player for Tamalpais Brass, and their ten-year-old daughter Waverly.
