Alison Sawyer - Horn
Alison sawyer…
is the Principal Horn of the Lamplighters Music Theater orchestra in San Francisco, as well as the Associate Principal Horn of the Mankato Symphony in Minnesota. Alison teaches music at Hale Elementary School in Minneapolis and is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (BM ‘03), Northwestern University (MM ‘06), and USC (MAT ‘08). Her primary teachers include Gail Williams (Chicago Symphony), Bob Ward (San Francisco Symphony), and Charles Kavalovski (Boston Symphony).
When she is playing her horn or teaching, she enjoys traveling, working with plants, creating macrame art, being in nature, and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
